We've been planning and planning for a W@W SG meet-up since February. although, they say that Singapore is a small country, people here are very busy. That's why, organizing a meet-up is kinda difficult.
But with the help of other co-wawies, our get together really happened and pushed through.
Date: 22 May 2010
Time: 8:00 pm
Venue: Starbucks, Plaza Singapura
Attendees: Please see below
L to R: Liway ni Bong, Madel and Jel, Doms and Dindin, Jhed ni Jepoy, Escie Bossing ni Rudy, Ana, Sai and John (he took the picture)
It was really a fun-filled night! we shared tips and tricks and we surely lerned a lot! I realized that Liway ni Bong was a very OC bride. Haha, she made her own contract and asked her chosen supplier to sign her contract. Escie, now a N@W was very helpful as well as Ana.
I really sihs that we can meet another time again and this time I hope the rest of the W@Ws in SG can come too!
I hope that Ms. Benz's plan to go to Singapore will push through so we can all meet her here.
Now that the wedding is over, time to talk about highs and lows or married life.

Another Site to Excite
Having and maintaining a wedding website is what makes me sane in between work deadlines and pressures. It is my outlet when all else fails. Just a mere sight of our wedding websites, make me smile and again gives me the "kilig" feeling about our wedding. So, I added a new website to the group!
I came across WIX, an online flash website creator. They have wonderful design and endless effects and animation. When I saw this particular template, it seems that I feel in love with immediately. So, without further a do, I am now presenting to everyone our newest wedding site:
http://www.wix.com/dindindoms/dindindoms
I hope you can all visit this site and leave your well-wishes on our wedding guest book.

"Momo"gram
I was browsing through some recommended sites of the people from W@W. I came across Wedding Chicks and I found out that they have a monogram creator. So, I tried it!
At first, I didn't know where exactly these monograms will appear. Then, I realized this can used for our STD envelopes or TY cards.
Well, I'm sure we can think of other ways to use this monogram. As of now, I'm loving this monogram!

I Hope: Bohemian Style Engagement Session
I've been thinking and thinking of what the theme of our engagement session will be. Since most of the places that we can have a shoot here in Singapore are gardens, malls, streets and parking lots, an impressive idea came to me, BOHEMIAN!
I've been a fan of bohemian era and fashion ever since I watched the movie Almost Famous, Moulin Rouge and Rent. Bohemian for me equates to free spirited minds, artists, poets, love songs, guitars and colors. I can easily relate me and Doms into this time. So, what better way to re-live this wonderful time is to use it as our central theme for our engagement sessions.
Our first DIY engagement session will be held at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. It's a wonderful place for photo sessions. I hope that Doms and I can have the time to really do this.
I am really excited about our upcoming e-sessions, take note, e-session"s"... Meaning we are having not only one but a few more e-sessions here in Singapore. Then, Vignette will have a main e-session with us when we visit Manila this coming August.

Music and Lyrics
Just yesterday, we closed the deal with Sound of Music Strings Company. We got their services for an Acoustic Band Package to serenade us and our guests during our wedding reception. The Acoustic Band consists of 1 Guitarist, 1 Violinist, 1 Singer and 1 Percussionist. We are seriously considering of getting another singer so they can sing duets.
Joel Potenciano was very nice to communicate with. He answers emails readily and he fills me in all the questions that I have. I really feel that they will give our wedding a the right atmosphere.
Now, Doms and I are busy thinking of the list of songs that we want them to sing. The songs will probably be a combination of Tagalog and English songs.
On the other hand, for our church music, I was able to get a hold of the song list of the Mt. Carmel Choir called Special Friends Choir. I was so relieved to know that they can sing love songs during the wedding mass. Now, my dream of walking down the aisle towards Doms with the song "Kailangan Kita" will be fulfilled!
I am really excited about our wedding! I really hope there will be no more problems that will hinder our wedding planning. It's already 8 months before our wedding and I am thrilled that one by one, our wedding suppliers are getting completed already.
That's it! Til our next supplier update!
