Now that the wedding is over, time to talk about highs and lows or married life.

100 Days To Go!!!
Church
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
We already paid the 50% of the total amount of the church. By November, we will be paying the church fee in full already. My dad asked Bro. Eli, the new person in charge of weddings in Mt. Carmel, about the additional tulle design for the aisle and I was so happy to know that he gave it to us for free!
Pending Task: Have our misalette approved by Mt. Carmel and pay the additional fees we incurred for the additional Ninongs and Ninangs
Pre-Cana Seminar
Doms and I are scheduled to have our Pre-Cana Seminar in Mt. Carmel on November 13, 2010. We were both surprised to know that the seminar will take up our whole day from 8:00am to 5:00 pm. Good luck naman samin! We will arrive from SG ng Nov. 13 ng 4:00am tapos by 8:00 am dapat nasa Mt. Carmel na kame for our seminar.
Canonical Interview
Just the same, we scheduled ourselves for the canonical interview in Mt. Carmel on November 16, 2010. Together with the interview, we will be handing out all our required documents to Mt. Carmel.
Pending Task: Marriage Banns of Doms and Dindin in my parish is OK and paid already. On Doms parish, it will be ready by end of October together with Doms' cedula. We also need 2 pcs of 2 x 2 pictures each.
Reception
Oasis Pavilion
75% paid already. I am really super blessed that Sharon is our AE in Oasis Pavilion. From time to time, she emails me and asks me updates about the wedding or asks us how we are and if we are excited. It's so nice to know that she takes time to ask out what we might need. We already paid half of the total amount of the wedding reception and I am happy that slowly but surely, we are getting that already.
Pending Task: Last payment and security deposit to be passed one week before the wedding.
Hizon's
Chrissy, our AE from Hizon's gave me the updated version of our contract. I am really happy that she takes time to answer my emails and revise our contract to what we wanted.
Pending Task: Ask Chrissy how much we need to add if I add my Lola in the PS table. We need to go to Hizon's to pay for the additional flowers, decorations and lechon carving station that we added. Also, ask Chrissy if we need to buy toasting wine for the Best Man Toast and if Hizon's will provide the chapagne glass.
Lechon
Doms and I decided that we will get Lydia's Lechon for our wedding. I already got the price of the lechon that we wanted and booked the waiter and carving station from Hizon's to chop the lechon.
Pending Task: Reserve and pay for the Lechon this November.
Coffee Bar
When Anj was here last weekend, she mentioned that she upgraded our coffee cups for the PS table to ceramic cups. I was really thankful that Anj was here in SG and that she is my friend!
Wedding Cake, PS Giveaways and Additional Guest Give-Aways
We are still choosing between Estrel's Caramel Cake or Joy San Gabriel Cakes. I asked Doms last night and he likes Estrel's more. If we chose Estrel's, I will buying at least 14 round cakes for the Ninong and Ninangs and buy cake slices for the guests. Or, I can order Joy's Mini Cakes for the Ninongs and Ninangs and just separate the additional guest give-aways.
Pending Task: DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH THIS on November!!! This is the hardest part so far!!!
Wedding Bridal and Ento Gowns
Concha Espana
I will have my 2nd fitting with Concha this November and I am so excited already. Concha told me that my gown will be almost done by that time already. Except for the French Lace top. She will sample on me this November the different lace top designs that she wanted for me. I am really excited! We have paid 50% of the total amount for the gowns.
Pending Task: Ask Concha the style of the hair piece that she will give me as well as the pillow colors for the ring, arrhea and bible.
Wedding Shoes for Bride and Groom
I am not yet decided whether I will buy my wedding shoes here or in Manila or if I will have it custom made by Abbylyns or Perfect Match. The wedding shoes is not my priority. As long as the shoes are comfy and not that high, I'm OK with it. On the other hand, Doms wanted to buy his shoes here in SG
Groom's Barong and Pants
Doms will be having his barong custom made by my Dad's barong maker.
Pending Task: Go to Rico's shop and buy the barong tela and pants tela and have Doms measurement taken this November.
Wedding Accessories
Ate Jiji just informed me that by November, our candles, bible and matches will be ready already. I am so excited to see it!!! I hope it is just how I imagined it. She made the wedding cord and gave it to us a gift. Thanks Ate Jiji!
Pending Task: Meet with Ate Jiji and pay for the stuff that she made. Also, buy the arrhea and the coins for the arhea in Wedding Library this November.
Bridal Prep Dress
I want to have a bridal prep dress instead of using a robe on the wedding day. I'm thinking of buying a cute dress for that but I am not yet sure if I will buy it here or in Manila.
Photo and Video
Vignette
Pending Task: We haven't finalized our pictures yet for our wedding guest book. Doms and I need to choose 20 to 25 pictures from our prenup pictorial with Boggs. We also need to choose which song we want for our On-site Video. We have paid 50% of the full amount already.
On the Day Coordinator
Touch of Magic Events
Pending Task: We've paid 50% of the full amount already. We need to meet with Dione and the rest of our OTD team. I need to tell them about the wedding scheduled ahead of us on our wedding day. They need to come-up with a plan to make sure that the people from the previous wedding is out by 10:15am so that my guests will be comfortable. Also, I need to ask about the RSVP service that they offered me before.
Reception Entertainment
Sound of Music Strings Co.

Flowers
168 Flower Co.
I just emailed Mich and told her that I want an additional teddy bear for our flower girl. I am excited for Friah already! I'm sure she will love the flowers I chose for her. We are 50% paid here already.
Hair and Make Up
Val Villarin
I am done with my trial make-up already and I love it so much! I just need to email Val and remind him of the wedding. During my prenup, I've paid almost 75% of the total amount of the package that I got.
Wedding Preps Venue
Astoria Plaza
I've booked Astoria quite early. I used the Asia Travel site so I can get a discount.
Wedding Transportation
Fly to Manila
Pending Task: I need to call Ronnie to let him know about the choice of flowers that we want for the bridal car. We have paid 50% of the total amount already.
Others
Wedding Rings
Doms and I still haven't decided if we will buy our rings here in Singapore or if we will buy it in Manila this November. One good thing about buying the rings here in SG is that my engagement ring has a wedding ring partner that will match it and that will be really cute. But, if we buy it here, we need to pay for it in cash. Whereas if we buy it in Manila, we can have the payment done in installment.
Crew Meals
Pending Task: I need to decide which crew emal supplier I will get. I need to count how many suppliers we need to accommodate for food for both the preps and the actual reception itself. I am choosing between CCME or Ambers for the crew meals.
DIY
Pending Tasks: Doms and I need to finish our STD printing, Table Number printing, Escort card, Photo Booth, Thank You card designs.

...and the Groom Got a Ticket Already
Initially, I was the only one who bought a ticket for our wedding because Doms was still not sure about his schedule. He wasn't sure what day he can go home. So, we let the months pass until he finally said that he can go home at January 13, 2011.
Yeay! My Groom is coming!

All About Documents
I hear a lot of couples complaining about how hard it is to get documents for the wedding. I couldn't agree more! What makes it worse is that Doms and I are both based here in Singapore and we need to rely on our parents to do the errands.
I'd like to thank my mom and dad and Doms' mom and dad who did all the painstaking tasks of getting our wedding documents ready.
I cannot get into so much details about the marriage license application because of personal reasons but, everything that the church requires are all ready for submission to the church.
What we have pending now are the following:
- Marriage Banns forms from both our parishes. The reason is this will take at least 3 weeks because the banns should be published for 3 weeks.
- Permission to Marry on Doms' side is still with his mom and I think will be sent together with marriage banns form.
- CEDULA
There, aside from the 2 forms mentioned above, all our docs are more or less complete already. We need to submit these forms to Mt. Carmel during our Canonical Interview.
As for our other docs...
- Marriage License = check!
- Birth Cert of Doms and Dindin = check!
- CENOMAR = check!
- Baptismal Cert of Doms and Dindin = check!
- Confirmation Cert of Doms and Dindin = check!
WE are really ready to go! Hahahaha... Excited much!!!

Our Save The Date Card is Here
Doms and I have spent a lot of nights creating our STD card. I truly thank Doms for allotting his time and creativity in our STD card. We will be sending our design to Vista Print SG for printing and hopefully after 14 days we will get our actual STD card.
Please don't mind bleed marks and color bar on top of the images. This was originally saved in PDF version for printing but I just converted it to JPEG for this blog post.
Exactly 4 Months to Go Before the Bugs Kiss
Today is September 15, 2010 and it's exactly 4 months before our wedding!
I’m not talking nonsense here. I checked our wedding tickler and it says:
The bugs are so close to each other already! I’m so excited our wedding is nearing already. I love the wedding preps especially the part when I annoy Doms and ask him to do the artwork of our Save The Date Cards, table numbers etc.
I’m also excited about the fact that when we go for a short trip to Manila this November, we can finalize a lot of things already like Doms’ barong, wedding cake, PS give-aways and the likes. We will also have our pre-cana seminar and canonical interview in those days.
How time flies!

Honeymoon Time!!!
Yes!!! An all expense paid trip for 2 to Macau!!! Yeay!!! We will be staying in Emperor Hotel Executive Room. This hotel is walking distance to MGM Macau and other great places and casinos.
We are thinking of riding the ferry to go to Hong Kong so Doms can visit Hong Kong Disneyland as well.
Even if I've been to Macau and Hong Kong already, this will be different mainly because this is my honeymoon!!! And I am with Doms.
I am totally excited!!!

Wedding Transpo
During my summer vacation in Manila last March, we rented Fly to Manila's Ford Everest. My sister was the one who coordinated with Ronnie Navarette, the owner or Fly to Manila. They were easy to talk too and he easily answers the calls of my sister if she has a question. I forgot the name of the driver assigned to us but he was nice.
The Everest that we rented came on time and it was new and clean. That's why, I made sure that for the wedding, I will get their services.
For my bridal car, I choose the Black Fortuner. For my family, I picked the Ford Everest while for Doms family I picked the Red Urvan.
